The Mediaeval Dwelling

The central structure, constructed between the 11th and 13th centuries, is considered one of the castle’s most fascinating features thanks to its unique architectural design, which continues to intrigue experts. It comprises four rooms with walls measuring approximately 2 to 2.3 meters thick. The high ceilings, altered over time through various restorations, contribute to its distinctive character. Inside, visitors can admire historical elements such as period architecture, stained glass windows, and remarkable furnishings, including armor, chests, and tapestries.
